She graduated from the University of Missouri St. Louis in 1999, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. With over 11 years of experience in public accounting, Twila has gained extensive knowledge across diverse industries, with a particular focus on nonprofit and insurance sectors.

During her tenure in public accounting, Twila honed her skills and expertise in financial reporting and auditing, providing valuable insights and guidance to clients from different backgrounds. Recognizing her exceptional proficiency in statutory accounting principles, she transitioned into consulting, where she dedicated three years to serving clients with specialized needs in regulated environments.

Twila's career took a significant leap when she assumed the role of Chief Financial Officer for a large Oregon Medicaid plan and Medicare Advantage plan. Over an impressive eight-year tenure, she spearheaded strategic planning initiatives, exhibiting a strong acumen for leadership and a meticulous attention to detail. During her tenure, she gained extensive knowledge and experience in the complexities of the healthcare industry, particularly in Medicare Advantage and Coordinated Care Organizations. Her notable contributions include implementing streamlined accounting processes, enhancing internal controls, and developing financial reports that deliver accurate and timely information to support strategic decision-making.
